ClearPass 6.9 Now Available On Azure
CPPM 6.9 is now available on Azure CPPM can now be deployed on the Microsoft Azure cloud-hosting service, a virtual private cloud (VPC).
What does this deliver? ClearPass Policy Manager can now be natively operated in Microsoft Azure as a virtual platform. This includes the ability to operate a cluster with on-premise and VPC hosted cluster nodes.
Why is this interesting? ClearPass Policy Manager can now be deployed in an Azure private cloud, in addition to the existing support for Amazon Web Services VPC environments for over 2 years. This allows customers that strategically selected Azure or those who require multi-cloud to run ClearPass off-premise.
Unlike the AWS instance, the Azure instance is directly able to be deployed directly from the Azure Market place by searching for Aruba, CPPM, or ClearPass.
